Job Title : Baler Operator

‍

Baler Operator is responsible for ensuring waste from machines is collected and disposed of properly.

‍

Specific accountabilities

‍

• Collect waste from all departments.  

• Use electric cart to transport waste buckets to Baler Room.  

• Separate different types of stock.  

• Tie bales with bailing wire.  

• Transport bales to trailer.  

• Diagnose mechanical problems.  

• Ensure the machine maintenance is done and that acceptable housekeeping procedures are followed.  

• Follow safe operating procedures and report any unsafe conditions immediately.  

• Ensure that all requirements of the JPI Quality Management System are followed.  

• Ensure all applicable Health & Safety Management System policies & procedures and  

• Environmental (ISO 14001) Management System policies & procedures are followed.

Key qualifications

‍

Education (diploma, degree, professional designation):  

High School Diploma.  

Experience:  

Previous experience operating a Baler Machine considered but training will be provided.
