We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in equipment repair, ensuring that all facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standards. This role requires proficiency in pool maintenance and cleaning, as well as the ability to utilize hand and power tools effectively. The Maintenance Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and functional environment for all users.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and facilities

• Adequate knowledge of pool chemicals, how to handle, and use them.

• Conduct regular inspections of pool systems, ensuring proper chemical balance and cleanliness

• Utilize hand tools and power tools for repairs and maintenance tasks

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide effective solutions

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance projects

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair

• Experience in pool maintenance and cleaning is highly desirable

• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is essential

• Previous service technician experience is a plus

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members
