Position: Full Time Security Guard

Site Name: Nash Jewellers

Hours: Tuesday - Friday (09:30 - 17:30hrs), Saturday (09:30 - 16:00hrs)

Pay Rate: $22.28/hour

Overtime Method: Averaging Agreement (AA)

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security risks

• Provide a visible security presence within the store

• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents

• Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, emergencies, or disturbances

• Enforce store security policies and procedures

• Assist with opening and closing procedures as required

• Maintain accurate incident and daily activity reports

• Liaise with management and law enforcement when necessary

• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security awareness

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence

• Valid First Aid & CPR certification

• 2 years of retail security experience is preferred

• Use of Force and MOAB in person training is required

• Strong observation and communication skills

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in stressful situations

• Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods

• Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

• Legally authorized to work in Canada
