IT Support Specialist (In-House) – 1 Position Available (New Role)

Status: Full Time, Permanent

About the Role
We are excited to introduce a new IT Support Specialist position to support our growing operations. This is a newly created role and an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on technical support, problem solving, and working closely with end users in a fast-paced operational environment.

This role will support daily IT operations, user support, onboarding, and system maintenance while working closely with internal teams and external service providers.

Please note: There is currently one (1) position available.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide day-to-day technical support for staff (hardware, software, network access, printers, mobile devices)
• Set up and configure new employee workstations and system access
• Support Microsoft 365 environment (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
• Troubleshoot connectivity, login, and system performance issues
• Maintain IT inventory and asset tracking
• Serve as the primary point of contact and internal liaison with Compudata, coordinating incidents, service requests, system changes, and escalations
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers as required
• Support cybersecurity best practices and user awareness
• Assist with system updates, patching, and backups
• Document processes and maintain IT knowledge base

Qualifications & Experience
• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years hands-on IT support experience preferred
• Experience supporting Microsoft environments (Windows, Microsoft 365)
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
• Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
• Strong organizational and documentation skills

Nice to Have
• Experience with cloud environments
• Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments
• Basic networking knowledge
• Experience supporting operational or technical teams

Salary Range
$60,000 – $75,000 per year, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
