Hours: ~40 hour per week

We’re a small, welcoming café known for fresh food and friendly service. We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen team in preparing delicious meals and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with basic food prep (e.g., chopping vegetables, assembling dishes)

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen

• Wash dishes and kitchen equipment

• Restock ingredients and supplies

• Support the cook/chef with daily tasks

• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous kitchen experience is a plus, but not required

• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team

• Good time management and attention to detail

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
