Job Summary:
The Breakfast Bar Attendant is responsible for preparing, setting up, maintaining, and breaking down the complimentary breakfast area, ensuring guests receive a high-quality dining experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to cleanliness, and efficiency in food preparation and restocking. The ideal candidate will be friendly, organized, and committed to providing a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation & Presentation:
- Prepare and set up breakfast items, ensuring they meet Marriott brand standards.
- Monitor food levels and replenish items promptly to maintain a well-stocked breakfast bar.
- Ensure all food items are fresh, properly stored, and displayed attractively.
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines in handling and preparation.
Guest Service & Interaction:
- Greet guests warmly and provide assistance as needed.
- Answer guest inquiries about food options, allergens, and hotel services.
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude while interacting with guests.
Cleanliness & Maintenance:
- Keep breakfast area clean, organized, and well-maintained throughout service.
- Clean tables, counters, and seating areas to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and food stations are sanitized regularly.
- Dispose of trash and food waste properly, maintaining cleanliness in the back-of-house area.
Inventory & Supplies:
- Monitor stock levels of breakfast items and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Assist with unloading and storing food and beverage deliveries.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items to prevent spoilage.
Compliance & Safety:
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper hand hygiene and food handling procedures.
- Adhere to Residence Inn and Marriott brand standards for food service and cleanliness.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be available for early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced food service environment.
