Position Summary

Burgers n’ Fries Forever is seeking a dependable and energetic Line Cook/Team Member to join its fast-paced restaurant team. The successful candidate will help prepare burgers, chicken, hand-cut fries, poutine, and other menu items while maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards.
  • Work at the grill, fryer, food-preparation, assembly, and service stations.
  • Wash, cut, portion, and prepare ingredients for daily service.
  • Assemble orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Take customer orders and operate the point-of-sale system when required.
  • Follow food-safety, sanitation, and allergen-control procedures.
  • Monitor cooking times, temperatures, portion sizes, and food quality.
  • Clean cooking equipment, counters, utensils, floors, and dining areas.
  • Restock ingredients, packaging, sauces, and other supplies.
  • Receive and properly store food and restaurant supplies.
  • Communicate clearly with coworkers during busy service periods.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties.
  • Follow workplace health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant, kitchen, or customer-service experience is an asset.
  • Able to work effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment.
  • Comfortable using grills, fryers, knives, and other kitchen equipment.
  • Able to stand for extended periods and safely lift restaurant supplies.
  • Dependable, punctual, organized, and attentive to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Food Handler Certification is an asset or must be obtained if required.
