Reports To: Executive Housekeeper / Rooms Division Manager

Position Type: Full-Time  

Position Summary

The Room Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring our guests experience a clean, comfortable, and inviting stay. Responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service, this position helps create the welcoming atmosphere that defines the Residence Inn by Marriott London Downtown.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, organize, and restock guest rooms and suites to Marriott brand standards.

• Replace linens, towels, and amenities while maintaining an eye for detail and consistency.

• Report maintenance issues, damages, or lost and found items promptly to the Supervisor or Engineering team.

• Replenish housekeeping carts and closets as needed to ensure efficiency.

• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures.

• Handle guest requests courteously and promptly, demonstrating the 'Spirit to Serve.'

• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a positive attitude when interacting with guests and team members.

• Uphold hotel standards of cleanliness in all public and back-of-house areas when assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but training will be provided.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.

• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.

• Professional, dependable, and guest-focused attitude.
