Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our Pet Valu team. The ideal candidate loves animals, enjoys helping customers, and thrives in a fast-paced retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with pet parents

• Assist customers with product selection and pet nutrition recommendations

• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately

• Receive, stock, and merchandise products

• Maintain store cleanliness and organization

• Assist with inventory management and restocking

• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

• Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset (training provided)

• Genuine love for animals (especially dogs and cats)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (pet food bags, supplies)

• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
