Part-time Casual Hourly Position

Interested in joining an outstanding hospitality team? We are currently seeking enthusiastic

and motivated Part-time Casual Servers to join our Event Services department.

‍

Since opening in 1993, RBC Place London, formerly London Convention Centre, has built a

testament to that success. With 70,000 square feet of versatile event space, we offer a modern,

welcoming venue that leaves a lasting impression.

Position Overview

As a Server at RBC Place London, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to deliver

exceptional guest experiences. This position is centered on providing outstanding food and

beverage service while ensuring guests feel valued at every interaction. With a focus on effective

communication and seamless execution, you will consistently exceed expectations and uphold

our service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and service food and beverages for events, ensuring quality and consistency.

• Engage with guests to enhance their experience and create memorable moments.

• Follow RBC Place London’s systems and procedures to ensure smooth operations and client

satisfaction.

Job Skills and Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A positive attitude with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• The ability to obtain Smart Serve Ontario Certification (new certifications are eligible for

reimbursement after 6 months of service).

• Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends.

• Ability to work mandatory shifts (up to approximately 8-10 per year)

• Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving supplies/equipment

Total Compensation

Hourly Start Rate: $19.22

After 400 Hours Worked: $20.86

Benefits: Employee Assistance Program, Parking, Voluntary enrolment in the Ontario Municipal

Employee Retirement System (OMERS) pension plan
