Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store operator for our Byron Mini Mart store. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, lead sales initiatives, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a background in retail management, with proficiency in visual design and marketing tools. The Store operator will be responsible for retail transactions, managing merchandising , stockingup shelves, cleaning store duringnight time, inventory management.

Duties

  • Supervise and lead store staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high performance and excellent customer service
  • Oversee retail sales activities, including merchandising, pricing, and POS operations to maximize revenue
  • Manage cash handling procedures and cashiering responsibilities with accuracy and integrity
  • Coordinate inventory management, including stock levels, pricing adjustments, and merchandising displays
  • Ensure compliance with store policies, health & safety regulations, and company standards
  • Maintain organized records of sales, inventory, and administrative tasks to support efficient store operations
  • Lead store meetings to communicate goals, updates, and training initiatives effectively

Experience

  • Supervising experience in a retail environment is highly preferred
  • Proven track record in retail sales, merchandising, or store management
  • Experience with marketing strategies and promotional campaigns
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills for effective customer service and team collaboration
  • Organizational skills necessary for inventory control, scheduling, and administrative duties
  • Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and pricing strategies
  • Background in visual design or schematics is a plus
  • Prior experience in customer service roles with strong time management abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$21.00 per hour
