Pathways Employment Help Centre Announces Retirement of CEO After More Than 25 Years of Service

London, Ontario – February 2, 2026 – The Board of Directors of Pathways Employment Help Centre (“PEHC”) today announced the upcoming retirement of its Chief Executive Officer, Paul Hubert.

Paul will step down this spring after more than 25 years of dedicated leadership and service to the organization.

During his tenure as CEO of PEHC (and its predecessor organization, Pathways Skill Development), Paul made significant contributions to the organization and the community. Paul’s notable achievements include: overseeing the delivery of effective, innovative employment services, expanding program offerings, strengthening community partnerships, and the launch of social enterprises such as Clean Works, Pathways Career College, and London Community Woodshop.

Five years ago, Paul successfully led Pathways Skill Development through a unification with London Employment Help Centre to form PEHC and was selected to lead the unified organization through its transition. The unification brought together complementary services and strengths and positioned the organization to better meet the needs of job seekers, employers, and community partners.

Under Paul’s leadership, PEHC established its own identity and successfully navigated major changes in the funding structure of the employment services sector.

Reflecting on this time with the organization, Paul shared:"Leading Pathways has been an honour. It has been a privilege to work with such dedicated individuals, colleagues and partners. I take pride in the contributions we have made together for our community.”

“Paul’s leadership has shaped PEHC into a pillar of the London community, known for its transformational skills training, advocacy work and for helping people return to the workforce,” said Andrew MacIver, Chair of the Board. “The Board is deeply grateful for his vision, his commitment to innovation, and the lasting contributions he has made to the community and to our mission.”

To ensure a seamless transition, PEHC’s Board of Directors will launch a search for the organization’s next CEO with a view to continuing PEHC’s impact into the future.

The Board extends its sincere appreciation to Paul for his years of dedicated service and offers its warmest congratulations on his well-earned retirement.
