About the Role As Director of Care, you’ll:
Lead and support a skilled nursing team in delivering high-quality, personalized care
Ensure compliance with Ontario’s long-term care legislation and professional standards
Drive continuous quality improvement through leadership, education, and innovation
Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Manage budgets, staffing, and department operations with care and efficiency
What We’re Looking For
Registered Nurse in good standing (CNO or equivalent)
Minimum 1 year as an RN in long-term care + 3 years in a leadership role
Proven ability to lead with compassion, integrity, and collaboration
Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and resident rights
Familiarity with RAI-MDS (AIS certification required within 1 year)
