Job Description
We are seeking a High Volume Prep Cook who is passionate about food and thrives in a busy kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, particularly in a high-volume setting, and will be responsible for ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients for pizza making, including dough, sauces, toppings, and other menu items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas.
Follow food safety guidelines and maintain high standards of hygiene.
Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management when stock is low.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Support the Head Chef in various tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar role within a high-volume kitchen.
Strong understanding of food safety practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
