Retail Production Associate Job Overview
The Retail Production Associate is responsible for providing world-class customer service and processing donated goods while ensuring a Healthy and Safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Contributing to the success of the donated goods business will help Goodwill create jobs and opportunities for meaningful work within their community.
• Supporting the environment through reuse and recycling of donated goods.
The Retail Production Associate will be scheduled to work a variety of shifts which will include evenings and weekends as required
Responsibilities
• Perform all duties within the framework of the Guiding Principles, River system business model and Standard Operating procedures.
• Follows the Customer Care Cycle (I Care) consistently providing world class customer service to all customers, internal and external, of Goodwill.
• Be actively involved in ensuring the health, well-being and safety of themselves and their team.
• Conduct work activities safely and in accordance with Health and Safety legislation and Goodwill, Ontario Great Lakes Health and Safety policies, procedures, and program.
• Maintain a neat, clean, organized, and safe facility, including but not limited to workstation(s) and the donation processing area.
• Sort donated goods based on condition in accordance with procedures.
• Price merchandise in accordance with procedures using the base price guide.
• Identify high value donations based on condition, quality, antique and/or collectibles for up pricing or online sales. • Keep current on merchandise knowledge, industry trends and competitive pricing.
• Perform other related activities as necessary or as assigned.
