Roofing Labourer

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Roofing Labourer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems. This is a physically demanding role that requires working at heights and in varying weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist roofers with the preparation and installation of roofing materials (e.g., shingles, tiles, metal sheets, membranes).
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
• Set up scaffolding, ladders, and safety equipment.
• Remove old roofing materials and debris.
• Clean and maintain tools and work areas.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Support the roofing team with measurements, cutting materials, and other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction or roofing is an asset but not required.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
• Use of ladders, scaffolding, and safety harnesses.
