Job description

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and driven Plumber to work in the London area.

The Service Plumber is self-motivated and results driven individual who will perform all diagnosis, repair and maintenance of plumbing systems in high-rise, residential, commercial and industrial properties.

Purpose

The Licensed Service Plumber role involves the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate is professional, self-motivated, has a positive attitude, and is committed to providing excellent customer service. They should demonstrate strong technical plumbing skills and a solid understanding of specifications and applicable plumbing codes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures.

· Perform diagnostics, testing, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems.

· Conduct drain cleaning and camera inspections.

· Follow building plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.

· Collaborate with general contractors and other trades.

· Maintain accurate records of time worked, materials used, and work performed.

· Respond to emergency plumbing calls and service requests.

· Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.

· Estimate time, materials, and labour needed for jobs.

· Assist in training apprentices or less experienced staff.

Qualifications

· Valid Plumber Journeyperson Certificate (Ontario).

· Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

· Working at Heights certification.

· WHMIS 2015 certification.

· Previous plumbing experience in residential and/or commercial settings.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Health and Safety Awareness Training.

· Experience interpreting blueprints and technical schematics.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

· First-Time Fix Rate: Resolve at least 85% of service calls without the need for a follow-up visit.

· Customer Satisfaction (CSAT): Maintain an average customer rating of 4.5/5 or higher on post-service surveys.

· Job Completion Timeliness: Complete 90% of assigned jobs within the estimated timeframes.

· Code Compliance: Ensure 100% of work passes inspection on the first review.

· Documentation Accuracy: Submit complete and accurate service reports for 100% of jobs.

Reporting Relationships:

The position of Licensed Service Plumber reports directly to the Installations & Service Manager

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $39.00-$42.00 per hour
